About Starlight Wedding & Event Planning

Starlight Wedding and Event Planning is owned and operated by Sherry Collins. Sherry holds a Bachelors degree in Social Science from York University, Business and Management Certificates from Centennial College and is a Certified Wedding Coordinator from the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada is the only licensed program in Canada for certifying wedding coordinators and their members are required to uphold a strict code of ethics which can be found on their website, www.wpic.ca.

In addition to a diverse educational background, Sherry has been planning events from small to large scale both in the corporate world and beyond for many years. Designing and coordinating weddings and events is Sherry’s passion and is the reason she chose this as a career. For the budget conscious couple, we are creative and can show you where you may be able to cut costs without affecting the quality of your wedding.
